One of the Largest Ski Resorts in Europe


Two large Austrian resorts are joining together to create the one of the largest ski resorts in Europe. You will be able to ski both KitzSki / Kitzbühel and Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental with a combined size of over 315 miles of trails and 139 lifts! Our hotel is conveniently located to both ski areas! The SuperSki Card lift pass works at both resorts. Ikon works at KitzSki and Indy at Ski Welt.  







Travel to the Austrian Alps: Flight & Bus Transfer to Resort



We will be flying non-stop to Munich from both New York, JFK and Boston, Logan on Lufthansa.
On the way home from Kirchberg, we will enjoy a night in Munich, Germany before boarding our flight home.

Once we arrive in Europe, we will be met by a luxury coach (bus) that will take us all from the airport to the hotel!
Sit back and relax, enjoy the scenery, make new friends, and plan your upcoming week!

Hotel Zentral - Kirchberg in Tirol: Your Home for the Week


Located in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps in a quiet, yet central location in Kirchberg, the 4 Star Superior Hotel Zentral offers an elegant ambience with high quality materials and pleasant color concept in a modern Tyrolean style. There is the Zentral bar and lounge located inside the hotel and a generous buffet area serving local delicacies and international specialties. What is included with the trip?

DSC ski trips include many things!

Travel

  • Round-trip non-stop flights to from NY/JFK or Boston/Logan.
  • Deluxe motorcoach transfers in Europe, all taxes, surcharges, portage.

Lodging + Meals

  • 7 Night in Kirchberg, Austria at the awesomely located 4★ Hotel Zentral.
  • Welcome reception upon arrival 
  • Full European buffet breakfast and dinner daily 
  • Swimming pool & sauna
  • 1 Night in gateway city of Munich, Germany (home to the Hofbrauhaus & Deutsches Museum) at the 4* Hotel Maritim.
  • Tipping for bus & hotel. You are always free to leave additional tip to recognize someone.

DSC Membership

  • 1 year DSC membership for trip participants

Skiing

  • There is always someone to ski with on our trips!
  • People of various levels of skiing ability 

Not Included:

  • Transportation to / from airport.
  • Parking at airport.
  • Trip Insurance.
  • Any additional airline baggage fees.
  • Ski rental.

Ski Pass - Not Included

  • We have 6 ski days available.
  • Kitzbühel is on Ikon Pass, and Ski Welt is on Indy Pass.
    The SuperSkiCard lift ticket will work at both resorts.
  • We will be doing a group purchase of the SuperSki Card. If you have Ikon or Indy, you can purchase day tickets to the other resort when you are there.
  • 2026-2027 ski pass prices have not yet been released, but the estimated price is: Adults $510 / Kids (Born 2008-2010) $390 / Youth (Born 2011-2020) $260 



How much does the trip cost?

The trip includes flight, transfers, hotel, welcome reception, breakfast and dinner in Kirchberg!

  • Land Only (No Flight, arrange your own): deduct $950
  • Price is guaranteed in US Dollars, regardless of the exchange rate at the time of the trip!  No worries about paying more at the last minute.

Trip Payment Schedule

  • 2 Easy Payments:
    • $1,500 deposit due within 2 weeks after registration to confirm your spot.
    • Balance due 10/1/2026.
    • Full payment due with any registration after 9/1/2026
  • Payment by Zelle, Venmo, or Check
Trip Insurance
  • We strongly recommend trip insurance covering cancellation for accident, sickness or death for you or a covered family member. 
  • Cancel for any reason” coverage can only be purchased within 21 days of registering.

Trip Cancellation Policy

  • Written cancellation received before 7/1/2026: $250 Fee
  • Written cancellation received between 7/1/2026 & 10/31/2026: $1000 Fee
  • Written cancellation received 11/1/2026 and after: No Refund and no credits towards future trips. We recommend trip insurance!
  • As always, we will try and get back what we can, but nothing is guaranteed after the deadlines.

Please don't hesitate to join our trip even if you don't (YET) know anyone going. The trip participants on our DSC trips are very welcoming. You will quickly make friends and find people to ski with. You will leave the trip with many new friends.

How do I find a Roommate?
How do I find a Roommate?
You can start by asking friends and family if they want to go with you on the trip. If you can't find a roommate, you can sign up for a double room, and indicate that you are looking for a roommate. The trip leader may attempt to assist in locating a roommate for you, but is not responsible for finding roommates for single travelers. The earlier you sign up the better! The trip leader will establish a cut off date where if no roommate is found, you will have to either pay the single supplement, if available, or cancel your participation in the trip.

We very much recommend that you get trip insurance. White it is not required, it an help in the event of a cancellation or trip interruption. Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage can only be purchased within 21 days of registering. Make sure you read your policy coverages to understand what is and is not covered. We understand that sometimes life gets in the way of going on a trip. We will try and get back what we can, but nothing is guaranteed. Our cancellation policy is clearly stated on the trip price page. This is why we recommend having Trip Insurance

We often have non-skiers on the trip. Our locations are also chosen such that there are activities for non-skiers.

The majority of DSC trip participants bring their skis and boots. But you are not required to. Our locations are always very close to ski rental shops.

The resorts we visit in Europe tend to fall into three categories: (1) Ikon Pass accepted; (2) Epic Pass accepted; (3) Independent resort not participating in a US multi-mountain pass. For our trip to Tirol, the Ikon Pass is accepted at Kitzbühel and the Indy Pass is accepted at Ski Welt.

We will have a pre-trip zoom call 2-4 weeks before departure to share a very detailed trip summary with lots of information and links.

We create two WhatsApp groups. One is for the trip leaders to communicate with everyone for important announcements. The second is for everyone to communicate with everyone else.

There is no ski lodge per se. The hotel is your lodge. The hotel has a ski room and boot room. You get geared up at the hotel, walk to the gondola and spend your day exploring the resort.

There is no bus service to JFK or BOS. You have to get yourself to the airport with your luggage, check in, and meet us at the gate!

We are unable to save space for someone to think about joining the trip. To be on the trip, you need to register and pay your deposit within 2 weeks of being confirmed on the trip.

How Does the DSC Communicate With Trip Participants?
The DSC used both email and SMS text messaging during the registration process, payment process, and other pre-trip communications. We create two WhatsApp groups for use during the trip. One is for leaders to share notices / announcements. And the other group is for trip participants to "chat" with each other, meet up on the mountain, share photos, etc.
