The Danbury Ski Club (DSC) was founded in 1955 and has been a member of the Connecticut Ski Council (CSC) since 1956. DSC has over 800 members who participate in downhill, cross-country, and telemark skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and many other winter activities.
The fun doesn't end when the snow melts! Because we're not just skiers...we also organize picnics, parties, hikes, bike rides, SCUBA diving, whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking, volleyball, softball, rollerblading, golf, camping, happy hours and many other activities. We truly are a club for all seasons!
Danbury Ski Club members can obtain discounts on lift tickets through the Connecticut Ski Council's Discount Lift Ticket Program and save even more by participating in 2011-2012 CSC awareness days. Visit the CSC website at www.skiclub.com for a complete listing of discounts including CSC Season and Lodging Discounts. DSC's lodge located in Weston, Vermont offers members affordable accommodations just minutes from Southern and Central Vermont's top resorts. The club participates in weekly ski and snowboard racing. We also offer ski and snowboard instruction at our On Snow Day.
Check back with this website often to get information on the many trips that we organize throughout the year -- not just skiing, but diving and other activities too! We are always looking for new ideas and for our members to take a leading role, so feel free to offer suggestions for activities and events. DSC provides services and donations to local charitable organizations. We offer other opportunities to get involved with your community and make new friends as well. Singles, couples and families are all welcome.
